“Truth be told, these Israel hotels you folks present aren’t exactly cheap, are they?”
To be perfectly honest, searching for cheap hotels in Israel is a difficult challenge. It can only be accomplished by defining a cheap hotel as a great value per money spent hotel or as a cheaper hotel than the other hotels. Cheap hotels in Israel are not as cheap as cheap hotels in another country, even in geographically close countries to Israel such as Cyprus, Turkey or Greece.
“OK, fine, but how can I pay less on Israel hotels?”
1. Well, hotels in Israel are much more expensive during the travel season which can run from early summer until November. If you’d like to get a cheaper rate you may want to try your luck during the off-season.
2. You may want to book a hotel for at least three days. This may help you get a discount of up to 10%.
3. You could also set a cap on how much you’re willing to pay and then try to battle your way through the Internet and travel agents in search of the best cheap hotel in Israel.
4. Timing is important. Booking a hotel early will often get you a lower price.
“I still don’t like your recommendations much. How can I find cheap Israel hotels myself?”
One option would be to visit specialized hotel sites such as booking.com and sort by price to get the cheapest hotels in Israel. Or you may want to join the major travel forums on the Internet such as TripAdvisor or Lonely Planet’s Thorn Tree and ask for recommendations there. Or maybe a hotel is too fancy for you.
